Aug - Convergence client Splore Dynamics was runner up to the Best Marketing of an Event at this month's New Zealand Association of Event Professional's Award. Marketing Manager for the event was Convergence's marketing expert, Suzanne McNamara.
May - Suzanne McNamara won the hotly contested Special Project or Event category of the 2010 NZ Public Relations Institute Awards for managing the marketing communications, publicity & sponsorship of the Splore music festival. Convergence partner Erin Jamieson was part of a team working with the Canterbury District Health Board that was highly commended for its work on Stopping Swine Flu in Canterbury; the CDHB/Convergence entry also won the inaugural PRINZ Crystal Clear Literacy Award.
Feb - Convergence is proud to be one of the sponsors of the Mercury Energy Tactix, Canterbury’s ANZ Championship netball team. Throughout the season this will involve assisting with media liaison and co-ordinating with other sponsors which include Convergence client

Jan - The University of Auckland’s Business School has again selected Convergence to deliver a two-day seminar on Media training and PR fundamentals as part of its popular Short Courses Programme. This year we will also deliver Communicating with a Digital Toolbox.
