ProMed Technologies – product launch

ProMed Technologies distributes medical technology to New Zealand hospitals and medical centres. As a young company it needed to raise its profile and brand image within the medical world. A chance to do this arose through the launch of a revolutionary new product, Total Haemoglobin.

The solution:
Convergence arranged every aspect of the Total Haemoglobin launch from presentation events, to media, promotional material and even a purpose built conference stand. Events spanned a range of meetings in Auckland to a medical conference in Wellington with every detail planned for by the Convergence team right down to branded Jaffa giveaways and an actor dressed as Dracula to lure doctors to the ProMed stand.

Convergence’s Raewyn Rasch also gave ProMed’s General Manager, Jan Smeath, the presentation skills she needed to face the media and to make presentations, areas in which she had little experience.

The launch of Total Haemoglobin resulted in highly successful, comprehensive with media coverage including 6pm television news, Sunrise on TV3, NZ Herald and radio coverage that also involved live interviews.

ProMed Technologies believes the Convergence campaign has delivered everything they wanted and more, boosting their profile and positioning their new product ready for a big sales year in 2009.

Convergence delivered beyond our expectations. From our initial meeting, they took control of the launch of Total Hemoglobin.
