A long-term Convergence client, the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology is New Zealand’s largest aviation training provider with 11 leading aviation schools under its umbrella which train more than half the country’s pilots. Recent work undertaken by Convergence includes producing regular newsletters, assisting NMIT to engage with Government, media relations, and supporting network members with media training and issues management.
We have worked for NMIT since 2007 when the organisation approached Convergence to develop a communications strategy that would raise the profile of its aviation programme to a variety of audiences including regulatory authorities, the aviation industry and potential students. Another objective was to present the pilot training providers and NMIT as being one cohesive network.
