In 2010 we assisted the charity to organise its prestigious annual business luncheon, which attracted many leading local business people including an address by Deputy Prime Minister Hon Bill English. The event raised much-needed funds to enable the trust to continue its work with acutely disadvantaged Canterbury families. Convergence has also undertaken media relations work on the trust’s behalf to help raise its profile, and for the last two years has assisted the organisation with its awards entry in the Champion Canterbury Awards, resulting in it becoming a finalist in 2009 and 2010.
