Rebecca has over five years’ experience in communications and marketing, three of which were spent in London where she specialised in media liaison and events for two of the most recognised real estate brands in the United Kingdom.
In her most recent role as Press Officer for one of the largest independent estate agencies in London, Rebecca utilised both traditional and modern methods of communications and marketing. She successfully achieved quality exposure in media that included The Sunday Times, The Mail on Sunday and The Financial Times.
Rebecca was also responsible for developing a social media strategy which combined managing social networking alongside raising the company’s online profile.
Rebecca’s knowledge of the property sector is extensive. She has experience in property management, commercial and residential sales, surveyancing and mortgage finance in New Zealand and the UK. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of the industry and likes the ‘get up and go’ attitude.
Event management is a passion for Rebecca. She has organised large-scale award ceremonies, gala dinners, trips abroad and team building days for key shareholders ranging from groups of 10 through to 600. Rebecca understands how to encourage and motivate a team through the use of events and incentives, while balancing a vision and budget.
Rebecca is an excellent communicator who exudes energy and enthusiasm for all facets of her chosen profession. She currently works with Convergence clients First National Real Estate, AMI Insurance, Generation Homes, Skullcandy, Team Event (South Island Wine & Food Festival, and Great Kiwi Beer Festival) and Skellerup.
