Paula Jackson

Paula Jackson has more than 20 years communications and public relations experience, achieved within  corporate communications teams, government and local government agencies, and professional consultancies. 

She has worked on a range of projects from large-scale infrastructure initiatives to advocating for changes to public transport legislation, consulting on solid waste and water management plans, and launching the $200m MeNZB vaccine programme.

As a consultant and contractor Paula has been involved in communications associated with the development of the old Auckland Tank Farm through its many incarnations into its newly formed agency Waterfront Auckland, including advising on the revitalisation of the Wynyard Quarter in downtown Auckland.  Her role has involved strategy development, media liaison, production of collateral, and consultation with council and communities.

Paula has extensive local body experience having worked with the current Auckland Council, former Auckland Regional Council, Waitakere Council and North Shore City Council. 

She has also provided services to government departments and ministries including Landcare NZ, Transit New Zealand, Ministry of Health and Local Government New Zealand.

Paula’s considerable depth of experience working with local and central government and across communities enables her to provide valuable insights into public, inter- agency and commercial communications. She has a particular interest in  supporting the successful marketing and positioning of new developments and lifestyle precincts.
